Capresso Cool Grind Coffee Grinders

Capresso Cool Grind Coffee GrindersJura-Capresso  is a merger of  Jura AG of Switzerland (1931) and Capresso Inc. of USA (1944).  The new company prides itself in producing and manufacturing state of the art coffee makers and grinders. Their models are super sleek and streamlined looking. Each design is fully equipped with LED displays for easy display of functions, chrome-plated buttons and stainless steel components.

As coffee lovers know, it is best to grind coffee beans right before brewing to keep its flavor and aroma intact. In line with this knowledge, Jura-Capresso came out with their new version of an easy to use and affordable blade coffee grinder, the Capresso Cool Grind Coffee Grinder.

The super sleek coffee grinder comes in black, white and stainless steel housing models. It is very light at 2 pounds considering that it has the capacity to grind up to 15 cups of coffee. The coffee grinder can sit comfortably and without taking much space on your countertop. Some of the worthy features of the product are: the stainless steel blades; a low build-up of heat that could save your coffee beans from a burn aftertaste; has a fast stopping action in case of accidents; has a storage niche in the base for the electric cord; a pulse action for full control of the grind’s fineness; a clear see-through safety lid for seeing the actual process and of course, a large capacity grind of 15 cups.

It is recommended though to grind in small batches for a more thorough and even grind. Some users complain that the grinding takes too long as most blade grinders only takes 10 second to grind (or chop) beans. Some users complain that the grinds are all over and that using the grinder is messy. Consumer reviews vary but in a nutshell, the grinder should be used in grinding small batches; the grinding takes an average of 30 seconds; the grounds are not meant for espresso machines but perfect for drip, percolator and French press. Other consumer are not so into the noise that the grinder makes.

Overall it has a consumer rating of 4. Not bad for a coffee grinder that sells at $ 19.99.
